Sandzini Magical Sculpting Compound {Review}

My boys love to build and I am always looking for something new for them to play with.  They get bored of building with the same old blocks and play-doh and that is where Sandzini comes in.

Looking for a fun and creative activity for girls and boys, 3 and up?  Sandzini is the magical mix that takes any shape.  With Sandzini, kids can cut it, mold it, sculpt it, cover it, let it dry and, VOILA, amazing creations can be made that will WOW all the kids in the neighborhood.  Sandzini is great for young kids who love activity based play, as well as for slightly older kids who want a more sophisticated arts and crafts experience – create a T-Rex, Pony, Ice Cream and more!

I got the chance to review the Sandzini Ice Cream Parlor Set.  Sandzini is a building compound that is a mix between sand and clay.  I can’t really describe the way it feels other than smooth.  It is not sticky, rough or dry.  Sandzini is really something I never felt before and it works great for building.  My bought thought it was silly.  There is a very low odor, I actually had to hold it up to my nose to smell it so it is no irritating either.  The colors are bright and the compounds come in mini ziploc bags, not plastic containers.  We put it away after using, but you can let it dry out overnight if you want your creation to harden from what I read.

Overall, the Sandzini Ice Cream Parlor Set is a neat set with the perfect amount to get started.  The tools are neat and work perfectly on the Sandzini compound.  You probably will need more Sandzini if you have a few kids as there is probably enough for maybe 4-5 creations.  Since we are bagging the Sandzini up and re-using it, we are having Sandzini fun over and over.  I was worried that the glitter from the Sandzini would get everywhere but it is actually embedded into the Sandzini and doesn’t come out.  The feeling of it is definitely something different and I liked working with it.  It was easy to build with and mold.
