Radio Flyer Shockwave Scooter {Review}

My boys have had a three-wheeled scooter and now that my oldest is almost 6 years old, he was ready for a two-wheeled “big-kid” scooter.  Since Radio Flyer is a brand I have trusted since my kids were babies (and since I was a child) I of course loved their Shockwave scooter right off the bat.

Radio Flyer Shockwave Scooter

Designed with Flexdeck™ Technology for bigger jumps and a better ride. The built-in suspension enhances jumps and minimizes bumps. The scooter is made for durability and speed with a solid steel frame for a no rattle ride™, and a wider deck for greater control. Shockwave™ also comes with a footbrake for added control.

Adjustable handlebar to grow with your child:

Shockwave FlexDeck for smoother ride / Foot brake:

The Shockwave Scooter is seriously awesome!  It may look like a simple scooter but it has some great features to it.  First off the handlebars adjust making it great to grow with your child.  Adjusting them is also as easy as a switch, no tools required.  Second off it is lightweight but durable.  My boys can easily carry the scooter and it stands up to their abuse.  Yes my boys are rough with their toys and a toy that can stand up to my boys is awesome!  The center of the board has FlexDeck Technology which makes for a smoother ride and gives it some flex for little jumps.  My boys think it is a “trick” scooter!  Then there is a foot brake in the back, which honestly we didn’t even realize right away because my boys don’t go too fast.  The scooter is made with steel so no plastic to worry about braking or cracking.  The weight capacity is up to 150 lbs. and with my 5 year old being only 40 lbs. I think he will definitely get his use out of it!  I honestly wouldn’t change anything on it and would definitely recommend it!

Stay Connected with Radio Flyer:

BUY IT:  The Radio Flyer Shockwave scooter can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $39.99 directly through Radio Flyer or look for it wherever toys are sold.
