To me the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will always be a classic and I love that the re-realeased the figures in their new Classic Collection.

The Classic Collection Action Figures reflect the look of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 80’s TV show. Each Turtle stands 6 inches tall, features 34 points of articulation and is authentically detailed to appeal to the true action figure collector. These perfect, old school cartoon recreations will leave you screaming: Cowabunga!  Includes signature weapon and sewer base.

The new Classic Collection Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo is a six inch turtle that is great for both playing with and collecting.  Right now my boys just want it in the box on their shelf, but I am sure it is only a manner of time before they want it opened and played with.  The figure comes with Michelangelo’s nunchuks and a sewer plate stand.  The figure is a hard plastic that feels like it can stand up to playing and still look nice enough to display for both kids and adults.  At around $15 a turtle it is reasonable to buy one and then work on the rest of the collection.
