Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise {Review}

My boys love Transformers anything.  I cannot even count how many Optimus Prime guys we have laying around but they all do something different and of course we have to have all of them! Robots in Disguise is a new line of the Transformers that not only transforms from robot to truck but also has a glowing accessory.  We of course got Optimus Prime to check out and my boys love him as expected.

This Optimus Prime is a Level 2 figure which means its just a little harder to put transform and of course has the glowing weapon.  It comes with the two Alkaline batteries (tiny circle batteries) it requires which is a plus in my book.  He is about seven inches tall and I’d put him at about the Medium size for the other Transformers we have.

As far as transforming him goes, I am lost.  It is like a Rubik’s cube to me and I am amazed at how my boys (4 and 5) can figure it out. The pieces move this way and that way and voilah you have a Robot or truck (well not that easy for me, but then again it is a Level 2.)

My boys are digging the Glowing Battle Blaster, which is something new for them as far as Optimus Prime goes.  One day I should probably make somewhere for them to display all their Transformers as they really are works of art (well for kids at least!)

Overall, this is a great figure that would make a perfect gift for any Transformers fan and at least for us, Optimus Prime never gets old.
