Loving our New Kid’s Bedding From Beyond Bedding {Review}

When we moved into our house we picked out some matching blue truck blankets from Target.  They were all I could find at the time that was not-character themed and something my boys would like.  Fast forward almost four years later and my boys now have their own personalities and are getting picky about what they want.  My almost 6 year old son, Aidan, loves trucks, construction trucks especially.  So what would make a perfect gift for him for his 6th birthday, well brand new high-quality truck bedding!

Beyond Bedding is a company that offers luxurious designer bedding at affordable prices.  The kids collections are carefully chosen so that only gorgeous unique, high quality bedding is available.  From a baby nursery up to an adult bed, Beyond Bedding has bedding for everyone.  The children’s bedding sets are actually handcrafted from the finest materials for lasting comfort and durability.  That is one thing I noticed right away from the bedding I received to check out.  Our old Target bedding was okay but after feeling the bedding from Beyond Bedding I really noticed a difference.

I decided on the Construction Zone Childrens Bedding 4 Piece Twin Set for my son and he absolutely loves it!  It fits his personality and the quality is amazing.  First off the four pieces you receive are a comforter, pillow sham, bed skirt, and one window valance.  The set is 100% Cotton and Microsuede, with a patchwork layout.  The colors (Teal Blue, Avocado Green, Chocolate and Butternut Yellow) are rich and match Aidan’s dark wood bed frame very nicely.  While Aidan doesn’t care, I love that the applique designs are embroidered on, it just makes the comforter and pillow sham look more expensive.

As far as cost goes, for a Twin this set is just over $100, which I think is reasonable especially for the quality.  I think I paid $50 for the set from Target and it is not soft or designer looking.  Aidan’s favorite part, besides the trucks of course, is the different feelings of the comforter. Some spots are cotton, some are microsuede, which leaves the comforter feeling so soft and cozy.  I have actually found him sleeping on the comforter before because he loves the different fabric feelings. I have the comforter and pillow sham up so far, and the bed skirt is next when I can clean under the bed!  The curtain valance is next as soon as we can get a new curtain rod and matching window panel.

While this set only comes with the four pieces, you can buy additional pieces to match such as sheets, pillow shams, window panels, rugs, memo boards, stickers and more!  Yes you could buy everything you need for a fabulous matching room!  Not happy with something?  Beyond Bedding has an “Easy as 1-2-3” Return Policy.

What is nice that Beyond Bedding offers similar bedding patterns from Baby Bedding sets and up, so you don’t have to re-decorate as you upgrade your bedding.  For example there are similar patterns and themes in the bedding so you can go from the crib to a toddler bed to a twin bed and up, all while sticking to similar colors and themes, this way you don’t have to keep painting your walls or replacing room furnishings.  What a great idea!

Overall, I love the bedding we received and how easy it was to purchase from Beyond Bedding.  You can also Design your own baby bedding which is something I have never seen before!  The fabric is high quality and unique, not something that every other kid is going to have.  I actually need some new bedding for our Queen bed and can’t wait to have some time to browse all the designs available.  Yes there are that many that I need time to browse because there are so many fun choices to choose from.
