MySuperSnack (soft) Granola Bites

MySuperFoods was created after the disppointment of yet again finding less than healthy, on-the-go food options at the store.  Inspired by kids, MySuperFoods has created MySuperSnack (soft) Granola Bites.

MySuperSnack (soft) Granola Bites are a whole grain based, healthy snack packed with 17 vitamins and minerals, ancient grains, falx seed, whole oats and super fruits (Apples and raisins.) Full of fiber and protein they keep kids nourished without preservatives.

They are chewy little bites that are soft and flavorful.  I honestly got these because my 4 year old is a huge snacker and loves granola bars but he was unable to eat them because they are processed in a facility which processes wheat, egg, soy, tree nuts, peanuts and milk – he has both an egg and a nut allergy.  I do love the concept of these though and that they are soft.  I was a little disappointed at the amount you get for the cost but I suppose if my child liked these it would be worth it since its healthier than so many of the other choices out there.  You get four granola bites in the bag for about $3 per bag.  I haven’t seen a soft granola snack for kids before so this does have that going for them and that they come in a good variety of flavors.  As far as taste goes I didn’t really like them, but then I am not a big granola fan.  I think my son though would have loved them.  I do like though the bite-size bites since my kids waste whole granola bars and that these bags are resealable.
