Snowboarding Action Figures – Shredz {Review}

A new line of action figures ready to be played with in the snow? How cool is that! Yes Swimways COOP brand has come out with Shredz – a new line of collectible, pose-able, snowboarding action figures! In addition to action figures, Shredz also came out with track building tools so kids can create their own tracks and stunt parks in the snow!

Each Shredz action figure comes with their own detachable helmet, snowboard and ID card, with seven characters available in total. The accessories can be mixed and matched with the different characters for different looks.

My boys were excited when they saw the action figures and were snowboarding them throughout the house, but they were more excited when I said they could bring them outside and build a course for them. So yes these figures are just as much fun inside the house as outside the house.

The COOP Shredz Track Maker is a plastic handle that kids can use to create a course for Team Shredz. It sculpts the snow by carving and smoothing out a trail to create a mini-snowboarding trail. My boys thought this was so fun as they could have never scooped out a perfect trail with their hands. This tool also kept their hands from getting so cold trying to smooth it out! Oh and they even used this in the house as a ramp!

What would a snowboarder be without a ramp? Yes Shredz features the Big Air Jump as a perfect plastic ramp for their snowboarders to jump off. It has a textured finish to give the Shredz figure even more air when he’s riding the mountain! The ramp can be used alone or with the other Shredz trick pieces.

Overall, my boys had a blast with these COOP Snow toys. They thought it was so cool to play with toys in the snow, whereas we usually don’t allow the kids to bring their toys outside. They had never really seen a snowboarder before either so it was something different for them. I see us using these toys year round as I was amazed at how much fun they had in the house with them before we went outside! I see using the Track Maker in the snow to create a cool course for them, yes they will be snowboarding in the snow! If you are looking for something different or a toy for those snow days (hello crazy Midwest) Shredz is definitely something different to check out!

Here is a video of my boys playing with it outside:
