In Comes the VINCI Tablet for Kids

Its amazing to think how much technology has taken over our lives and changed how we do things.  I think about how I grew up and how my children are growing up and its like night and day!  The one thing that really amazes me though is how educational technology can be for kids.  Don’t get me wrong I don’t want my kids to grow up with a screen attached to their hand, but I figure if they are going to play games, I might as well push educational ones!  It is definitely a challenge though to know what to trust though because some tablets are open to the Internet (with easy access to inappropriate websites) and others are just not age appropriate in general.  We have too many tablets to count in my household and my kids tend to go towards the adult ones because the ones they have are babyish and they are too easy for them.  I also have the challenge of finding a tablet that is age appropriate for various ages as my kids are 18 months, 4 and 6 years old.  A tablet that they could all use and use as they grow would be nice.

In comes the VINCI tablet…

VINCI

VINCI is a new category of learning tools that engage, empower and educate young children to achieve school success.  VINCI Learning Devices utilize the award winning VINCI Curriculum, a step-by-step learning structure comprised of age specific learning apps and assessment tools.  VINCI Devices are powered by the latest touchscreen mobile technology, Android, 3D animation to provide children a fun and engaging learning experience.

There are three levels of VINCI Curriculum (The Curious, The Confident, and The Capable) tailored to accommodate the different aspects of a child’s developing mind by helping him/her with:

Thinking Skills
Social and Emotional Understanding
Landguage and Literacy Abilities
Maths and Logical Reasoning
Science
General Knowledge

So what did we think of the VINCI tablet?  My kids were definitely impressed by it.  The tablet looks like a grown up one which is what appealed to my kids.  Right out of the box it was ready to go and my boys figured it out right away, so much so that I didn’t even get to play with it until the next day.  I didn’t have to delete anything inappropriate or even teach them how to do anything.  The VINCI tablet has the three levels of curriculum on it basically Easy, Medium and Hard that my boys worked their ways through.  Before with the iPad or Android tablet we have they had to come ask me how to get back to their game or how to start a new game we downloaded.  The VINCI tablet really is intuitive for kids and one of the better tablets I have seen and we are learning more and more about it everyday.

Once we use our tablet a little bit more I will share the features we love and what else we have discovered!

BUY IT:  THe VINCI Tab III M 5” Learning Tablet can be purchased for $169.99.
