Save Money With Dominick’s New Fuel Rewards Program #FueledbyDominick’s

There are two things that go hand in hand for my family:  gas for our family car and groceries.  I mean we have to eat so I am constantly grocery shopping and I feel like we are always driving here or there.  Now I can save money on groceries but its not like there are coupons for gas.  Dominick’s though has found a solution for those trying to save money, which aren’t we all!  Dominick’s has teamed up with Exxon Mobil Gas to save money at the pump just for grocery shopping!  By shopping at Dominick’s, consumers can earn reward points towards up to 20 cents off a gallon at the pump.  If your Dominick’s has a gas station you can redeem up to $1 off per gallon!

So how does it work?

For me this is genius on Dominick’s end because I have found myself shopping more at Dominick’s just to earn those points towards gas savings.  For me, Dominick’s and Mobil are actually the two closest grocery store and gas stations.  My husband drives about 60 miles a day and add that to my driving here and there and we spend a few hundred on gas, so any money we can save there is better than nothing!  It may seem like $0.20 off a gallon is not much but it adds up!  My car takes about 16 gallons and with $0.20 off that’s a savings of just over $3.

How do you sign up for Gas Rewards?

Just make sure you use your Dominick’s Fresh Card when you shop and your rewards will automatically be added.  Which if you don’t know, the Dominick’s Fresh Card is a free savings card that you use each time you shop to save money throughout the store.  There are Just for U items which are personalized deals based on what you normally shop for, Deal Match which allows you to price match prices right onto your card, Add Coupons and more!  I highly recommend downloading the Dominick’s App as you can add coupons and deals to your card right in the store, no more printing out or clipping coupons (although yes you can combine those manufacturer coupons with the Dominick’s deals.)  I can usually get some awesome deals for a few minutes of browsing the app and the store.  So yes I can save money on my groceries and then save some money on gas!

How to redeem?

Just swipe your Dominick’s Fresh Values Card or type in your linked phone number before you swipe your credit card at the fuel pump.  It will tell you right there what your savings are and add them.
