Walking on Clouds With My New Mohawk Home Rug {Review}

To me a good rug can really make a room.  When we first moved into our house I needed a rug quickly so my kids weren’t playing on the hardwood floor, but I didn’t have the first clue about buying a rug.  I ended up actually buying an area rug at our local hardware store that was nice but if I had more time I probably wouldn’t have bought it.

Mohawk is a company that sells quality floor coverings for every room in the home.  I had seen Mohawk rugs at my local Kohl’s before and actually saw that they also sold flooring at the tile store where we bought our basement flooring.  Their rugs come in a variety of sizes and textures, in a great selection of styles that are sure to please even the pickiest consumer!

I finally decided it was time to really pick an area rug for our family room and I absolutely love our new Mohawk rug.  It really makes the room “pop” and it feels so much nicer than the rug I had.  The rug just felt thicker and softer when I first opened it and rolled it out.  Actually the only problem I had with Mohawk was that I liked too many of the rugs that it took me awhile to decide on one!  I actually took a picture of my family room and a screenshot of some Mohawk rugs to play around and visually see which rug I liked best!

I did this in just a few minutes, its not perfect but it gave me an idea:

Ever since I rolled out our new Mohawk rug I have received tons of compliments.  The rug colors bring out colors in my room that I had never noticed before and makes it feel like a whole new room.

A new rug is a great way to redecorate without painting or buying new furniture and did I mention that Mohawk rugs are affordable too!  The Fulbright 5 x 8 rug I reviewed runs for around $120 on sale at Kohl’s (suggested retail price is $199.99) and many of their other rugs are similar in prices.  Oh and while shopping on the Mohawk website you can click “Buy Now” and it will link you to the store that sells that style rug.  Overall, I am sold on Mohawk flooring and have only nice things to say about my new rug.
