Kids Foaming at the Mouth With New Firefly Products {Review}

I don’t know about other kids, but my kids are terrible with toothpaste and are always asking for a new cool toothbrush.  The toothpaste issues in our house are that the toothpaste dries out since they leave the cap off, the toothpaste tastes bad, it gets stuck on them and they hate that or they just completely miss their toothbrushes when trying to squirt it on.  Well Firefly has revolutionized teeth-brushing, at least for us they have!

Firefly has come out with new toothbrushes and toothpaste that the only problem I am having now is my kids are going through the toothpaste like crazy because they are brushing a few times a day!

New FireFly Fluoride Foam Toothpaste isn’t a traditional paste or gel.   It has a foamy texture and kids squirt it right in their mouths!  No more countertop spills or clogged tubes…something parents will appreciate.   It’s fun to use and has a kid-friendly bubble gum flavor.  Unlike regular toothpaste, it’s immediate foaming action flushes out food debris from those  hard-to-reach places.  It is also recommended for braces wearers who tend to brush too hard and risk breaking wires.  Available in the following characters: Angry Birds, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Barbie™, or FireFly.  SRP $2.49 at Walgreens, Target and other fine retailers.

New FireFly Ready Go Brush has a light-up timer that mimics a traffic light.   Green for go, yellow for halfway done, and red for finished!  It’s so colorful and fun to use that kids will want to brush, no nagging from parents required.   And as a bonus, it has a suction cup holder allowing it to be stored upright on the counter for less clutter and improves hygiene.  This ADA-approved toothbrush comes in a choice of characters – Barbie, Spider Man, Angry Birds or original FireFly. SRP $3.49 at Target, Kroger and Meijer stores.

So the toothpaste is different than any other toothpaste we have tried.  Its foam!  Rather than squirting it on your kids’ toothbrush, they can squirt right in their mouths – so much easier and cleaner!  The flavor is bubble gum, which honestly I wouldn’t mind using regularly.  It kinda reminds me of the foaming hand soap, genius idea to use it in kid’s mouths.  No stickness, no spilling and no crusty toothpaste!  I will definitely be buying these again!

The toothbrushes look like regular toothbrushes but they have a light-up timer on them like a stoplight.  Push the button and the toothbrush lights up green.  Kids keep brushing until the light turns red.  It is great because it teaches kids just how long they should be brushing their teeth.  For extra fun the bottom is a suction cup allowing it to be stored upright on the counter (or the wall which my kids of course had to see if it sticks on.)

  • Woah,....this stuff looks great for my family. The kids are constantly making the bathroom sink look like a toothpaste scene from Hostel or Scream. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing, oh, and thanks for visiting too. UBP13 was too cool!
