Okay so last month I went to my cousin’s wedding wearing the same black dress I have worn to about seven other weddings. I bought it right after I had my second child and have worn it to every dressy event since. Don’t get me wrong, I love the dress and I have definitely gotten my use out of it (I think it was like $40 at T.J. Maxx) but I am in need of a change. The size surprisingly fits me still, but I am just sick of it. I am also looking for a little less formal dress, but comfy enough that I can wear it all night kinda dress.
For me I’d say dress shopping is right there with bathing suit shopping. I feel like the stores I shop at never carry a good selection or my size. I also have trouble actually shopping because I usually have my kids with me. Until recently I never bought clothes online because I felt they wouldn’t fit when I got them. I realize though that my size is pretty standard and its not that big of a deal if I have to ship something back to return it. I found that by shopping online for clothes, I have way more choices available for selection, my size is usually in stock or at least can be ordered and I can shop when I have time late at night! Even if I am not ready to buy something, I do like to browse dresses, especially the New Arrivals at MissesDressy.
