Go Ape! Children’s Card Game {Review}

Previously I wrote about a children’s card game by Patch Products called Go Oink.  Well Patch also realesed another game called Go Ape!  Its a card game where you have to act out silly actions, so basically an interactive card game!

Go Ape!

Go Ape! by sticking out your tongue, rubbing your tummy or waving your hands in the air! You act out the funny monkey picture on the card to ask other players if they have your matches─it’s like Go Fish, but a little sillier and more animated! If you enjoy acting like an animal, you’ll go wild over this card game! The cards come in a cute monkey storage case!

For 2 to 6 players

Go Ape is an adorable game of Go Fish where instead of asking for “a red fish” or “a blue fish”, you mimic a movement the monkey on the card is making.  I played this with my boys (4 and 6) and they had a blast!  We really got the silly’s out in this game and my boys maybe got a little too into it!  Some of the movements were similar or a little hard for my boys to mimic, but the cards do have different colored background which helped my boys figure out the differences.  This is a super cute game though to take Go Fish to a new level and get kids moving and thinking!  Oh and when you are all done just store the cards in the plastic ape!
