My kids have been bugging me to go bowling but honestly the thought of sitting in a stuffy and packed bowling alley is just not appealing to me. Well then I remembered my husband raving about how nice Pinstripes was so I decided we’d check them out. Even better yet they have bowling specials! Monday through Thursday kids bowl for $5 per game and moms bowl free!
First off walking into Pinstripes you would not expect it to be a bowling alley, it exudes elegance. My boys were like “This is a bowling alley?” It is super classy. To the right is the bowling alley and to the left is Bocce Ball, which my kids want to do next time!
So back to the bowling. The lanes are typical but they really are conducive to kids (but don’t think it won’t be fun for adults only either!) First you can add bumpers to any player individually which I realized I should have added to myself since I got tons of gutter balls! My boys loved the bumpers! Then there is a bowling slide (well that is what I called it) that you push in front of the lane, place the bowling ball on top of and slide it down on. This is great for young kids who need help to get the ball moving.
My boys had a blast and honestly they could have played all day. Hungry or Thirsty? You get a waitress who will come take your order and the menu is not your typical bowling food. We are talking good food!

Overall, we had a blast and even though the nearest Pinstripes is about 30 minutes away from us, we will definitely be going back. There prices are a little more than some of the other bowling alleys, but the service and quality is amazing. I have no complaints there. I love that they offer specials, from drink specials to food specials (including kids eating free on Sunday.)
