As I have said before, I love Quaker products. From the morning to evening, there is never a bad time for them. Well Quaker recently conducted a survey and found that 91% of moms feel it is important that their child has a norishing snack or meal before physcial activitiy. Makes sense to me as we all know doing something on an empty stomach is like asking for trouble! 69% of moms have said they struggle finding foods that are simple to give their children. Quaker’s partnership with The Chicago Fire Soccer Club is a perfect partnership as they aim to deliver the powerful combination of whole grain oats paired with soccer as part of their commitment to educating and inspiring families to be healthy and active.
Did you know that three out of four moms consider whole grains to be a nourishing snack or meal for their children, but less than one percent of kids are actually getting the daily recommended amount of whole grains in their diets. Quaker has been fueling families for more than a century through their oatmeal in the beginning and now a huge variety of products including oatmeal with fruit individually packed, cookies and granola bars.
Through their partnership, Quaker will serve as the title sponsor of The Chicago Fire Juniors, the club’s youth player development program that supports more than 10,000 soccer kids and families in Chicago and nationally. This past weekend, Quaker hosted The Quaker Invitational which brought together thousands of youth players representing 130 Chicago Fire Juniors teams from around the country for a weekend of soccer, community and fun. It was a perfect showcase of the joint commitment to fuel healthy families!

I got the chance to check out a Chicago Fire game with my boys and we had a blast. We sat in the “Quaker Corner” section and the weather was absolutely perfect. The Chicago Fire ended up beating Montreal, which was an absolute highlight to end our evening.
When we got home, we didn’t let the fun stop there. We started the next day with Quaker products and will continue to enjoy them! It’s funny too how each of us has our favorite Quaker product!
