Enjoying a Summer Campfire with Duraflame Roasting Logs {Review}

Disclosure:  I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Honestly I am not a camper.  I have never slept in a tent or gone camping outside of a cabin or RV, but I do love a good campfire.  In remember in high school it was always cool to go to someone’s house for a bonfire but then I got older.  It took me some time but I realized there is no reason why I can’t have a campfire in my own backyard!  This way my kids can enjoy, I can relax, and we can have s’mores!  The problem though is wood.  I always worry the wood we could find around our neighborhood would be too wet, filled with bugs, or just not suitable for a good fire.  Well Duraflame has made it easy to enjoy a campfire in your backyard and better yet while camping!

What makes the Duraflame Campfire Roasting Logs stand out first off is its size and shape.  The logs are small and light to carry and cut so they aren’t going to roll around and can stack nicely.  Next there are no splinters to worry about as the logs are individually wrapped for clean handling and carrying!  Between the paper their wrapped in and the fact that they are made with 100% renewable resources (including real wood and charcoal), they also offer no-hassle lighting.  I will say these logs light up fabulously, and I love that because fire scares me and I hate when my husband is screwing around trying to get the logs to light.

These logs are ideal for camping because they are not heavy to carry, compact and safer (light easily, no crazy smoke coming off them, and they are meant to burn a few hours each.)  While we haven’t taken them camping with us, for my backyard fire they were perfect. Now I am no fire-lighting or log expert but I really like these Roasting Logs and recommend them.  I am actually going to pick up a few more to keep on hand for when the nights start to get chilly again!

BUY IT:  Duraflame Campfire Roasting Logs are available in a 4-piece bundle (5 lb) for one campfire or a case of 6 bundles for 4-6 campfires.  Check out the Duraflame Where to Buy page to see where they are sold in your area!
