Brewing Over Ice With My Keurig #LoveBrewOverIce

Honestly I am not a hot coffee drinker.  I love iced coffee and juices, but I never understood the whole hot coffee thing.  Then we got a Keurig and I became a snob.  Those little white cups became something I collected and I wanted to try them all.  My husband uses our Keurig all the time, but I admit I got a little bored with it, that is until the Brew Over Ice line came out.

Brew Over Ice is exactly what it sounds like.  You pop in a “Brew Over Ice” labeled K-Cup and place a glass of ice under it. The Keurig will brew it over the ice for a delicious but iced drink.  From coffees to teas to fruit drinks, there is a Brew Over Ice flavor for everyone.  The varieties even include popular brands such as Snapple, Green Mountain Coffee, The Original Donut Shop, Vitamin Burst, Celestial Seasonings and Donut House.  My new favorite is the Strawberry Pomegranate flavor which I love to enjoy after the kids go to bed when I don’t have to share it!  My husband is all about the Lemonade flavor.  You’d think it is strange to brew a hot beverage over ice, but it is the prefect combination and the taste is delicious.  I have yet to try to K-Cup that I don’t like.  Our Keurig is also a hit at parties since everyone can pick out their own K-Cup flavor and its ready in a minute.  No more plain boring coffee with bowls of sugar and cream!
