Getting Our Fiber Fix From Kellogg’s #LoveYourCereal

Did you know that 9 out of 10 children do not get enough fiber in their diet?  Not enough fiber means irregularity can happen…down there.  I had no clue that the statistic was so high on kids and fiber, but I can definitely believe it.  I am guilty of not feeding my own kids enough fiber, but I am trying so hard to expand their food favorites.  Yes I am becoming one of those sneaky moms that sneaks in fruits and vegetables into their meals!

One way I don’t have to sneak in fiber though is through cereal.  My kids love cereal and as a mom I love how easy it is to serve to them!  Kellogg’s wants moms to know that kicking off your child’s day with fiber can be tasty and just what your child needs to keep their tummies happy.  Constipation is reportedly the cause for almost 5 percent of all pediatric outpatient visits!  Kellogg’s Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Mini-Wheats have between 3-6 grams of fiber per serving, a good amount to start your kids’ day off on track!
