Uncle Milton Grand Finale Light Show (Fireworks Inside!) {Review}

Disclosure: I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Honestly fireworks scare me.  As a parent I want my kids to enjoy seeing the fireworks but not get close enough to them that they can get hurt.  This past 4th of July we were at my parent’s house and my 18 year old brother was lighting off fireworks in the backyard, my boys were amazed.  I had to reiterate to them how their uncle is older and knows how to be safe around fireworks, still though they were bummed they couldn’t help.  Then I saw the Uncle Milton Fireworks Lightshow setup and knew that was something my boys could do safely and enjoy!

Grand Finale Light Show

Create a Grand Finale Light Show in your room! Launch awesome lights and sounds from colorful Firework cones at the push of a button.  Launch each cone individually or all at the same time.  Program a whole show with up to 150 launch combinations.  Then turn on some music and let the Grand Finale begin!

Includes:

  • Light-up master controller
  • 5 colorful Firework cones
  • Awesome sound effects

Okay so first up setting this up required six AA batteries, which are not included.  It seems like a lot but I am hoping they will last awhile.  Next up is just folding each of the cardboard cones and inserting the light inside each.  Yes the cones are cardboard which I was bummed about, but they have surprised me and have held up nicely.  My boys are 5 and 6 years old and they have had a blast (haha) with this set.  They are able to do this all by themselves (after the initial help from me to fold the cones) and they love breaking them out to show all of our guests their “light show.” We use this in our basement where it is pretty dark, and you do need darkness to work the best so if you don’t have a basement then I’d say to use them in a dark room where light isn’t peeking through the curtains.  I do wish too we would have kept the box for some kind of storage but we just throw them in a basket and the kids carry it to where they want to set up.  They can be used anywhere too since they are battery operated (no outlet required) so you can bring these outside or to someone else’s house easily!  Very cute and entertaining.  A great way for kids to enjoy safe fireworks and feel in control of setting them up.
