The very first pair of actual rubber-bottom soled shoes my oldest child wore was from Stride Rite.  Its funny how I never realized how important good shoes are until I had kids.  I remember my grandma telling me over and over “Don’t buy cheap shoes!” She explained that kids feet are growing still and they need the support of a good shoe!  So I headed to my local mall and bought him a pair of sandals and gym shoes from Stride Rite.  Now I will say, they were expensive but then again they were good shoes!  Those shoes went through both my boys and honestly they still look brand new, and my boys are tough on shoes.  Stride Rite definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to shoes and has been doing it since 1919!  So when I got the chance to check out a pair of shoes for all three of my kids, I was enthusiastic!

I don’t know who was more excited, when the kids new shoes came – me or the kids.  For my boys I wanted gym shoes with no laces, yes I admit it my boys can’t tie their shoes yet.  Luckily, Stride Rite has tons of great lace-less shoes and the styles are modern featuring lights, superheros, and tons of boy-friendly colors.  Stride Rite really has so many styles that it is so hard to narrow down to just one pair!

Overall, my kids love their new shoes and as a mom I love that I can feel good about them wearing them.  I mean your feet are pretty vital and I don’t want them messing up their feet growth and development right off the bat!  Stride Rite shoes are designed using the latest technology and using the best materials, exactly what a mom could ask for!  If you can, I highly recommend heading to local Stride Rite store as their sales associates undergo extensive training to master the principles of length, width and support, for the right fit!
