Pinypon Snow House Play Set {Review}

Disclosure:  I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My daughter has been so excited about Pinypon after seeing the telvesion commericals that I was so excited to check out the new Pinypon Snow House Play Set.  Now I had never heard of Pinypon before but the set looked adorable on tv and in person its even cuter.  First off I will say assembly is for Adults Only and will take patience.  There are tons of stickers that need to go on, a few cardboard pieces that need to be snapped on, and a few plastic pieces that need to be snapped on at various points.  Once assembled though your child should be good to go.

The Ski Lodge is where Pinypon Friends vacation in the winter. They ice skate, ski, ride a snow mobile, build a snowman and get warm in the Lodge. This set has so many accessories and fun details, from the ski lift to the ski slope.

Pinypon Snow House Play Set:

  • Fun snow-themed play set
  • Includes 3 Pinypon friends dressed in winter gear
  • Includes themed accessories
  • Material content: plastic

So the first thing that surprised me with this set is where it says “Real Ice Rink.”  Now what that means is that you can actually put water in the ice rink tray and freeze it so the figures can “ice skate” on it!  I didn’t get the chance to do this because laying something flat in my freezer is impossible right now, but I don’t see why this wouldn’t work just fine although it will be cold to touch!  So real ice rink, check, next up is all the figures and their skates, skis, or boards.  There are so many pieces to this set that it would be hard for a little girl to get bored.  I absolutely love that you can take apart all the pieces and swap them around, its like making all new dolls with just a few pieces!  There are a few cardboard pieces you have to stick on to the set with these little plastic pieces but surprisingly they stayed on.

This set is for ages 4 and up and I think that would be about right.  There are many small pieces so you definitely want the child to be out of the putting the pieces in their mouth stage and able to swap out the pieces themselves (although that is pretty easy to do.)  My daughter is young still so I supervise her playing with it and my boys (although they wouldn’t when their friends are around) like to play with it too!  The set is just so kid-friendly and adorable!  So much to do and change around.  There are add-ons you can buy for this set too for more Pinypon Snow fun, but really this set should be good for awhile!

Part of cardboard are clicked on with little plastic pieces, but they are pretty sturdy:

Just to show you how many stickers you need to put on:
