Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Capture the Kraang Fishing Game {Review}

Disclosure:  I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
You know that game where you have the little fishing poles and you have to magnetically hook the fish and pull it out?  Well now there is a new version of the game specifically for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Capture the Kraang Fishing Game is the same game we all used to love as a kid but instead of fish you are catching Kraang the brain!  After adding in the 2 AA batteries, which are not included, and attaching the stickers to the fishing rods for the first time, you are good to go.  The board moves and each player is competing to catch the most brains!  The game is for ages 4 and up and up to four players at a time.

Overall, I will say this is a really cute game that I enjoy playing with my kids.  The game is easy for kids but still challenging as the board is moving.  I love how it is TMNT themed as well as it makes the game feel like its for older kids as well, as my boys would probably think the plain fishing version is babyish.  You don’t have to be a TMNT fan to enjoy the game either as its just a fun game in general.  No reading required.  No real board game set-up or money to deal with.  This is a perfect game for young kids as well as old fans!

CHECK OUT:  Look for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Capture the Kraang Fishing Game for a suggested retail price of $15.00 wherever toys are sold.

  • Thanks for the information! My nephews would love a game like this! Besides, I haven't met a single kid who doesn't love TMNT, male or female!

  • i love teenage mutant ninja turtles! i used to watch them with my brother and sister..i also love that they're coming 'back'!! this game reminds me of the going fishing games where you'd have to pick them up with your magnetized rods

  • This is such a cute game. I remember when I had the original "fishing" game. I liked that one, it was a lot of fun and I think kids will enjoy this new twist on the original too.

    • I used to love the original fishing game, I do love though how they keep updating the game with the new characters for each generation of kids!
