Since I could first read a calendar I have owned one.  I honestly remember how exciting it was to go pick one out every December and then start filling it out for the new year.  I’d mark birthdays, holidays, and no-school days right away, then hang it up.

Well since 1999, Calendars.com has become the world’s largest calendar store and they continue to sell millions of calendars each year.  From walls to desks, with characters to sports to personalized creations, Calendars.com has a calendar for everyone.  I think the only problem with the website is that there are too many good choices, and really how many calendars does one person need?

Well I found two calendars that I knew I had to get my boys.  I think its especially important for kids to have a calendar to not only get a concept of the days, weeks, and month, but to show them upcoming events.  I know my boys drive me crazy asking when this is or that is, so I write everything on their calendars so they can keep an eye out on it.  They cross off the days each day and get excited when events are coming.  Now when they ask me when something is coming, like a birthday or special event, I tell them to check their calendar!

Two popular calendars that were must haves for my boys are:

LEGO

Skylanders

For adults, there are great desk calendars and I even found a re-useable one for myself!

Letterpress 2014 Desk Calendar

By re-useable I mean this desk calendar has a calendar on the front and then it can be trimmed and reused as postcards or notecards!  They fit in a standard envelope which is not included but you do get a clear plastic stand for the cards.

At around $12-$20 for these calendars they are well worth it, I mean really that is only like a dollar or two a month!  Calendars.com even offers Free Standard Shipping on any order!

Here are some other calendars from their Top 50 Calendars:

They don’t just sell calendars though, they also have great gifts to shop from and even a Gift Finder to guide you!

I found some adorable “Thank You” cards to use as a teacher’s gift!  These note cards are perfect for teachers or anyone to use for whatever they need to thank someone for.
