Dino Construction Company –T-Top the Triceratops Bulldozer From Educational Insights {Review}

Disclosure:  I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

A bulldozer for kids that looks like a dinosaur and doesn’t require batteries, heck yeah!  The T-Top the Triceratops Bulldozer from Dino Construction Company is a sandbox or dirt toy that any little dinosaur lover would absolutely love.  At about 18 inches long it is the perfect toy for any little one to push around.

T-Top is part bulldozer, part Triceratops, and totally kid-powered. This bright red mega-morph can push dirt, steer through sand, bulldoze branches, or push blocks out of the way, stopping for nothing in its path. With a sturdy, smashing tail and movable jaw, T-Top gives kids a roaring chance to build or demolish imaginary worlds of their own.

Dinosaur footprints are left behind in sand and kids can actually TURN the real steering wheel inside T-Top’s cab. From indoor pretend play to outdoor adventures, T-Top and the rest of the crew offers kids adventures of prehistoric proportions!

  • Totally kid-powered, with no batteries required
  • No metal parts
  • Oversized push-blade head and movable jaw
  • Strong, segmented tail with posable joins
  • Built kid-tough and designed to last for years
  • Grades Pre-K+

So like I mentioned, no batteries required and everything is plastic so when this gets left outside, yeah it happens, it won’t rust! I am all about plastic toys because they clean up so well and this one is actually a very thick and durable plastic.  You couldn’t bend the plastic if you tried!  The tale can be moved and posed and the mouth in the front opens.  The silliest part though is the dinosaur tracks it leaves in the sand, which I wish I could show but unfortunately its a little cold here right now to dig in the sand.  This could absolutely be used inside as well to push around toys or just scoot on the floor.  Your child could even put a little figure in the cab as its open to squeeze one in there.  I will say too that at first the price was throwing me off because it is a little pricey at $40, but I’ve seen it on sale at Educational Insights for $29.99 and really this is a big and quality toy that is going to last.  With outside toys you want them to last and this one definitely will!  I also just keep referring to it as an outside toy because its ability to leave dinosaur tracks in the snow and it is a big toy that some might now have room for inside.
