Only PlanToys Could Make a Duck & a Alligator So Much Fun! {Review}

Did you know that for over 30 years now PlanToys has been recycling the wood from expired rubber trees to create beautiful wooden toys?  Their toys not only inspire creative play but they promote a commitment to sustainable play for generations to come.  I first came to learn about PlanToys when my first child was small and we got the PlanToys Parking Garage.  He got it when he was about 2 years old and honestly I just got rid of and it looked like new still! He played with it for almost 5 years almost daily!  PlanToys definitely built toys to last and I love that they are not the same ole’ plastic toys you find everywhere nowadays.  Something about a wooden toy too just makes it feel more of a classic and sturdy toy.  You won’t find PlanToys products either requiring batteries, yeah!

I got the chance to check out two PlanToys products and they of course made my kids smile!

Push Along Duck

When pushed, duck makes a realistic flip-flop with its feet. Duck feet are made from natural rubber sheet and easy to clean up.  For ages 12 months +

This is a new toy from PlanToys and seriously adorable.  This is a perfect toy for any child would is just walking as it provides some help to be steady, as well as developmental skills including Cause & Effect, Gross Motor and Physical Skills.  My kids, even my 6 year old, laughed and laughed as this little duck waddled around, making a clicking noise as he walks.  Whether you push it forward or backward, he moves along.  Very cute and of course durable!

Dancing Alligator

When pulled along, the alligator moves his head and tail up and down making click-clack sound.  For ages 12 months +

This toy is so simple yet packs a lot of developmental skills into it, including Coordination, Gross Motor and Imagination.  My kids ages 2, 5, and 6 all had a blast pulling around this alligator.  We actually had something similar when my oldest was younger but it broke and we never replaced it.  I am glad I was able to get this for my 2 year old because she loves pulling things around and this is perfect for her.  Its not heavy, wooden so its durable, and its fun to watch him go!  This is an adorable toy for any child!  Even if they can’t walk with it yet, its a fun toy to just drag around the floor or push!

Overall, PlanToys is a brand that constantly amazes me with their products.  I have yet to throw one away because it broke or because my kids never played with it, they build toys that last and ones kids love.  I love the uniqueness of the products as well, not the same ole’ qualities we see up and down toy aisles.
