I got the chance to check out the Disney Sofia the First Transforming Dress & Trunk, which is absolutely adorable! You also won’t find it anywhere but Kmart! Luckily Kmart makes it easy to shop for! I love too that it made their Fab 15 list because honestly I might have missed it otherwise. Kmart does have a holiday toy catalog as well, with lots of hot toys for all ages.
Disney Sofia the First Dress Up Trunk has everything your little girl needs to transform herself in Disney favorite Princess Sofia the First. The dress up trunk comes with an realistic reproduction of Sofia’s gorgeous satin princess dress with its scalloped hem, glitter art and accents. It has pretty puff sleeves, ruffle trim at the sleeves and neck, a tulle peplum and embroidered trim. A pretty tulle underskirt has a satin band and glitter accents, and the stretch panel at the back ensures a comfortable fit for every size.
It also comes with matching gloves, a mini tiara, purse and wand. Inside the trunk is a free magical lesson card to use in the Talking Magical Amulet (sold separately). Each card has a different princess lesson, so collect them all!
I wish I could have captured my daughters face when she opened this, but she was too fast for me! Her look was priceless when she realized what it was. She absolutely loves to dress-up and this set includes everything she needs for a full outfit. Sure we have dress up pieces but nothing necessarily goes together or coordinates, this set includes everything to make your daughter feel like Princess Sofia. My daughter is 2.5 years old and the dress is a little big on her, but she absolutely doesn’t mind and I know she will fill it out in a matter of months. Her favorite piece is of course the dress and then surprisingly the gloves which she had never seen fancy gloves before.
Like I said this set is a Kmart exclusive so if you have a Sofia the First fan or just a girl that loves dress up, make sure you check it out at your local Kmart. I look at it too that since its an exclusive it is a gift that will really surprise little girls since its not one that they will have seen elsewhere before.
