Nixplay Wi-Fi Cloud Digital Photo Frame {Review}

Digital picture frames are a product to me that I remember thinking how amazing they are when they first came out.  The problem though was I didn’t like the idea that to update them with photos I had to first put my pictures on a USB drive or pop my camera’s SD card in it to view them.  Since the frames have come out, companies have constantly been updating them for the better!

One company that has come out with a frame that really surprised me is the nixplay Wi-Fi Cloud Digital Photo Frame.  It is not just a plain ole’ digital picture frame.  This frame has Wi-Fi built into it for easily adding photos to it as well as the ability to link it to your Facebook, Instagram and Picasa.  Yes it is a Digital Cloud Frame!  I have never seen a digital picture frame on the market like this!

I got the chance to check out the Nixplay Wi-Fi Cloud Digital Photo Frame and it is seriously awesome!  Setting up the frame was super easy.  Right out of the box I just plugged it in and then set up account online and on the frame itself.  I actually think my mom could have done it herself and she is not a technical person at all!  If you bought this frame as a gift you could even activate it and set it up yourself and then the person that you give it to really just has to set up the WiFi on it, which is how the photos will be downloaded to it.

Like I said, this frame was super easy to set up and honestly I have received so many compliments on it already.  I have it displayed in my kitchen and I’m thinking it is going to make a great gift for my family members for upcoming events – Mother’s Day, check, Graduation, check, Grandparents Day, check!  I definitely recommend this frame.

As far as complaints, I really don’t have any.  The frame is not touch screen which at first I was bummed but then I realized it will be nice to not have finger prints all over the screen.  There is a remote control included as well as buttons on the back to use, because really how many people loose remotes right away!  The frame really is simple in its design as well which should work in any home, but right now there is only one style/color available.  Right now there is not the ability to email pictures to the frame, but the website says they are working on it and it should be released soon.  Once the frame has the ability to have pictures automatically emailed to it, that would make it the ultimate digital frame in my opinion!  You also have to approve pictures on the frame, which is a good thing but also could be tedious.  Overall though I love this frame and you really can’t beat the price!
