Wolfgang Puck Pressure Oven {Review}

A countertop oven that bakes, broils, roasts and more up to 3 times faster than a regular oven?  Yep something like that exists!  I am talking about the Wolfgang Puck NovoPro Pressure Oven!  Basically this one countertop appliance can replace your oven, microwave and toaster!  It uses pressure technology to infuse food with more flavor, in addition to cooking foods up to 1/3 of the time!  It can cook meats, veggies, baked goods, basically anything!

  • Full size Poultry has best time savings – cooks 3 x faster
  • Other large meats – cooks 2 x faster
  • Chicken breasts cook about 2x faster
  • Frozen Chicken breasts cook 30% faster
  • Side dishes – about 20 – 30% time savings
  • Baked goods – 20 – 30% time savings.

So for the holidays we always struggle trying to cook everything at once and its envitable that a few dishes will be a flop because they didn’t get the cooking time or temperature they required.  From everyday meals to big holiday dinners, I see so many uses for the Wolfgang Puck Pressure Oven!  It is basically an extra oven if you need it or a replacement for your big oven that you may not want to use.  Maybe your big oven takes too long to heat up or gets your kitchen too hot?  Or maybe you just have to cook multiple dishes and need a second oven?  The Wolfpang Puck Pressure Oven is portable and so easy to use.

So far I have cooked a 5lb. chicken in there.  I initially was going to use the rotissere rod but unfortunately I couldn’t get it in right so I decided to just Roast the chicken.

After a call to customer service and a new rotisserie rod, it turned out my rod was just defective and a new one worked great.  (I don’t believe this to be a normal case, but rather I got one of the rods that turned out to be manufactured incorrectly, the one end was a little bigger than it should have been.)  While you can go buy a rotisserie chicken all ready to go at most gorcery stores, cooking it at home in this Pressure Oven is awesome because you can season it however you want it.  As someone with high blood pressure, I love that I can use low sodium seasons and control the flavor.

How did our chicken taste?  Amazing!  It took a little longer than expected but we are getting used to the times and settings to use.

  • Love this oven. SO much so that I gave three for Christmas presents . Everyone loves them.
    One question we have is CAN you use frozen meat in the oven? Can you put a frozen turkey breast or frozen beef or pork roast? IF SO HOW MUCH EXTRA TIME DO YOU ADD TO THE COOKING TIME?I would love to just take the meat from the freezer to the oven and not have to go to the grocery store before cooking.
