Fevers are no fun at all and at least in my house I feel like we have the never-ending illness going on. We have had rounds of three illnesses go through my whole family and it has been awful here. Luckily we are all feeling better, finally, and the weather is warming up so I can let some fresh air in the house. No matter the season though, kids still get sick and as parents we try to get it to run its course quickly. Children’s Advil® is a medicine that not only provides fast fever relief that lasts up to 8 hours, but it has the medicine pediatricians use most for their own kids fevers! Oh and for picky kids out there, it even comes in a variety of flavors: Bubble Gum, Blue Raspberry and Dye-free White Grape.
I’ve used Children’s Advil® with my youngest son and it definitely kicked the illness’s butt! He was up and playing in no time and I didn’t have to keep dosing him with medicine every few hours. I will say though when my kids are sick, it can be so exhausting trying to entertain them while they are recovering. We’ve played card games, colored, and video games, but it can be hard to think of easy going activities for sick and weak kids.
In addition to being an a fever reducer, Children’s Advil® also wants to help kids cope while sick with some fun activities, foods and easy games. The Children’s Advil® Facebook Page features the Children’s Advil® Feel Better Activity Center with lots of fun stuff to do at home with a sick child (or even when they are not sick since there are some super cute activities!) I honestly am going to be using this app a lot over the summer to keep my kids entertained, sick or not!
Like creating a Family First Aid Kit, why haven’t we done this yet?!
Or Catch the Breeze Spinners? I envision lots of these being made and hung up!
Homemade Clay, yes please!
Don’t even get me started on the Duncan Hines Mint Chocolate Cake Cones! Yum!
Who knew a Facebook page could have such a valuable app on it? I guess I am just really excited about the fun ideas and I love that Children’s Advil® has set up an area with so many great ideas!

I let them sleep as much as they want, or just lie on the couch and watch TV. And of course plenty of liquids.
Besides medicine, I read and sing to my son when he isn't feeling well.
My kids love snuggling in they're warmest cuddliest blanket, watching fave movies and homemade chicken soup
I comfort them by rocking and singing to them, reading books to them and just staying close.
we comfort our sick children with lots of hugs and kisses and rest and good food and liquids.
How do I comfort a sick child? Lots of love and attention and depending on what the sickness, depends on what medication if any.
