Checking Out New Gorton’s Artisan Fish Fillets {Review} #RealSolutions

As a kid my favorite food was fish sticks, ketchup and mac n’ cheese, strange I know but I loved it.  As an adult while I don’t mind the occasional fish stick, I have broadend my horizons to other fishes.  As a busy mom of three though I don’t always have time to prepare fish how I’d like it or how it should be cooked.  Sure I may pick up frozen fish fillets from the store but then I realize I have no seasoning for them, story of my life.  Gorton’s products are my go-to products for when I am in the mood for fish without the hassle.  From the freezer to the oven for about 20 minutes and voilah we have fish for dinner!

To keep up with the new flavors and spices out there, Gorton’s has come out with a new line called Artisan Fillets that are available in four varieties:

• Roasted Garlic and Italian Herb
• Lemon and Cracked Peppercorn
• Southwest Tortilla
• Southern Style

Now I am all about garlic anything so I couldn’t wait to try out the Roasted Garlic and Italian Herb fillets.  The box comes with 5 of them for about $3.50 a box, and honestly an adult probably would need 2 depending on how filling your sides are.  For me and my husband though to have these fillets and then some rice or veggies, that is a pretty affordable and delicious dinner!  Anyways though like I said I couldn’t wait so I made them for lunch for myself (shhhhh!) with some broccoli on the side.  I cooked mine for about 19 minutes in my toaster oven (flipping them once) and they came out crispy and delicious, seriously so yummy!  I will be stocking up on these since they are so easy and convenient to make, especially when the weather warms up and the kids want to be outside, when I need to be inside cooking dinner!  No messy breading them myself or seasoning them, they are all ready to go!
