Organizing Toys Can Be Fun with ToyTainer {Review}

As a mom of three kids my house sometimes feels like “Hoarders: Toy Edition.”  I have tried buckets, bins, baskets, you name it I tried it, nothing gets my kids to clean up.  Now I am not saying there is a cure out there but ToyTainer does come close to being a magical cure for messes.  What exactly is ToyTainer you may be thinking?  Well its a new company that offers fabric and plastic storage containers that are fun to use to clean and play with.  The products come in designs for both girls, boys and unisex, ages 2 to 8.  Most of the ToyTainer products even fold up when not in use so they can be stored nicely until needed.  I got the chance to try out a bunch of their products with my kids and I love them.

EZ-MAT

Take and store your toy collection everywhere with the ToyTainer EZ-Mat. A Waterproof and washable drawstring play mat, perfect for all types of play time. 48″ in size, it provide plenty of space to play with toys with themed backgrounds, enhancing play factor. EZ, when playtime is over it is simple. Just collect toys inside, pull the drawstring mat together! Becomes a backpack to hang up and store away or ready for on the go!

This surprisingly worked perfect for my daughters dolls.  She had a big enough surface to play on (48 inches) and when she was done, I helped her pull it closed.  She then actually carried it to her room!  This would be perfect for outdoors as well since its waterproof and washable, so summer picnic playtimes are definitely on our agenda.  Perfect too to store toys in to bring to grandmas or wherever.

GAMES CENTER FOLD ‘N GO

The Games’ Center Fold N’ Store is perfect for play, store and/or ready for on-the-go activity. A cool fold up bag that once unfolded becomes a play and storage unit, great for on the back of your bedroom room. Once hooked up, there are games, including basket ball hoop that can even store your balls and targets. Storage pockets for toys straps for blaster and larger toys make clean time fun, after play time is over.

I absolutely love how this comes with the hooks for the door already as other products like this do not, which is a huge pain.  It is ready to be used right out of the packing.  Beware it does not come with any toys or balls, rather it is a storage for them.  My boys had this filled in no time and love throwing the balls into the net for storage.  I do wish there was more than one gun holder as both my boys have Nerf guns but thats okay.  There are also tons of smaller pockets for items as well as Velcro targets for any Velcro toys you may have.

PRINCESS CASTLE FOLD ‘N GO

The Princess Castle Fold N’ Store is perfect for play, store and/or ready for on-the-go activity. A cool fold up bag that once unfolded becomes a play and storage unit, great for on the back of your bedroom room. Once hooked up, it supplies hours of imaginative for girls including a themed castle background with a mirror that folds out to become draw bridge. Plenty of pockets to store and organize your favorite toys and accessories that make clean time fun after play time is over.

Just like the Games’ Center Fold N’ Store, this product also comes with door hooks so its ready right out of the box.  It comes with tons of pockets for dolls and accessories as well as a little mirror.  What I really love about this is its super portable and ready for taking along to grandmas or wherever.  It closes shut and since the dolls are pretty flat it can be closed with the dolls inside.  My daughter will definitely be taking this with her on overnights at grandmas and friends houses!  Oh and it can be lowered or raised easily so younger kids can reach!

BULLDOZER SCOOP ‘N STORE

The Bull Dozer Scoop N’ Store is a multifunctional toy and storage bucket includes loads of features. Providing hours of fun using the free wheeling Bull Dozer for scooping up toys into the toy chest inside. Then using the easily removable bucket with carry handle to transport, store and continue play time with your favorite toys.

My 5 and 7 year old sons absolutely love this truck.  They use it daily to clean up their LEGOs off the floor and love that it actually works like a truck.  We had a similar product but it didn’t work by scooping and dumping the pieces, this one does!  Then the fact that you can remove the bucket to dump it is absolutely fabulous!

DOLL HOUSE FOLD ‘N STORE

The Doll House Fold N’ Store is perfect for play, store and/or ready for on-the-go activity. A cool fold up bag that once unfolded becomes a play and storage unit, for inside the closet. Once hooked up, it supplies hours of imaginative for girls including a themed background with individual platforms for integrated play. When play time is finished, simply store in the closet or fold up flat!

This is honestly the only product I didn’t actually set-up. Our closets are pretty packed or have double hanging rods right now so I didn’t have room to hang this, but the concept is neat.  I know a lot of people do keep kids toys in their closets so this would be a nice addition for both storage and playtime.

ARCADE DEPOT GRAB ‘N STORE

The Arcade Storage Grab N’ Store acts as a storage unit, in addition to being a cool game, providing hours of fun! Just like being at the the Games’ Arcade for real! Use the grabber to pick up and grab the toys, place them inside and then watch them fall. Simply repeat for hours of fun with easy clean up when play time has finished.

This toy organizer automatically attracts any kid that comes into my house, so far it has been four of my kid’s friends that immediately walked to it to try it out.  It is a toy that screams play with me, not literally.  The concept is that you pick up a toy with the removable grabber and then drop it in.  Then when you need the toy you just use the grabber to move the toy out.  Now I will say my front flap which holds in some toys didn’t stay shut well, but my kids pretty much kept the toys in the big opening anyways.  It doesn’t fold flat, but it does hold a lot and kids can’t help but grab stuff to put away in it!

FIRE TRUCK / ICE CREAM TRUCK PLAY ‘N STORE

The Fire Trunk / Ice Cream Truck is to multifunctional toy combined with a storage toy chest inside! Added feature of free wheeling will provide lots of fun for play time, transporting and storing toys. Fun to clean up when play time is over.

My daughter especially loves her Ice Cream Truck and carries it around everywhere.  I am amazed at how much this toys can hold!  They do lock closed by just pushing the latch down and they make for easy clean up and carrying.  They also do roll like real trucks.

SHOE BOX – PLAY ‘N STORE

I absolutely love how these not only hold toys but also open up to a little play mat surface.  The styles were perfect for us with animals being in FARM, cars being in CITY, and My Little Ponies being in CASTLE.  They stack so nicely together and fold flat for storage.  The colors are bright so they pop in any room and my kids love keeping their toys inside them for easy playing.  Perfect for taking along wherever as well since they are small but not too small that you can’t play with them!

Overall, I really do love our new ToyTainer products.  I am actually going to be giving these products as gifts when we have birthday parties to go to, they are gifts that moms and kids can love!  If I had to pick a favorite I think I’d pick either the Shoeboxes which you can’t go wrong with or the Princess Castle Fold ‘N Go, but really they are all great products that have their uses.  It is amazing how happy my kids were to get these and that they have been consistenly using them!
