Okay so as I am getting older I am starting to realize that my hair is falling out more and more. It pretty much started when I started having kids and while its not a lot at a time, it does add up. My poor husband has the job then of cleaning out the drains when my mop of a head clogs it up. It is so disgusting, I honestly can’t even watch but it is something that needs to get done or we’ll have a bigger problem to deal with. I remember in my first apartment my roommate and I had full heads of thick hair and who knows even when those drains were cleaned last, but we had the shower back up and it was not a fun time.
Well now there is Liquid-Plumr® Hair Clog Eliminator® which is a liquid that you pour into your bathtub or shower trains (or the bathroom sink) and it breaks down what causes the clog. It is specially formulated for slow drains due to hair clogs that form at or below the stopper, basically the clogs that you can’t reach. It is safe for septic systems, plastic pipes and all you have to do is pour it down and wait. No tools or plunging required. 15 minutes later your drain should be cleaned and clog free but for tough clogs you may need to wait longer. I am definitely picking up a bottle and hopefully my poor husband won’t have to get down and dirty with our drains again!
