Build-A-Bear Workshop has two exciting campaigns going on right now both celebrating heroes.  Whether the hero being a teacher, parent, member of the military, selfless child, Build-A-Bear Workshop wants to celebrate them.

Huggable Heroes is a campaign that since 2004 has recognized more than 100 exceptional young people.  The annual program supports a variety of causes and champions un-bear-lievable efforts of young people who are making a difference.  This year they are looking for the next 10 amazing kids and is looking for nominations.  Young leaders should be between the ages of 8 to 18 and someone who provides extraordinary service in their communities or around the world.  Each Huggable Hero will recive a $5,000 educational scholarship and $2,500 to be donated to the cause of their choice.  Need some inspiration before nominating your personal hero?  Check out the Huggable Heroes from the past years!

The second campaign from Build-A-Bear Workshop is the USO Every Moment Counts program.  The USO recognizes the selflessness and dedication of our troops and their families display daily in service to our country.  To honor them, the USO has created the Every Moment Counts effort to highlight the moments that matter most for our troops and their loved ones.  Build-A-Bear has joined the USO effort to share the message of thanks and support for our heroes and appreciation to our nation’s troops and military families.
