Britax Pavilion UltimateComfort Series Convertible Car Seat {Review}

My daughter, Olivia, is almost 3 years old and I was ready for a new car seat for her.  It’s not that she outgrew her old car seat, but rather we needed one for or other car and honestly her old one was filthy.  After checking out a Britax booster seat for my sons, I was super exited to try out a Britax car seat for my toddler.

The Britax Pavilion UltimateComfort Series Convertible Car Seat is the perfect seat from infants through kids up to 65 lbs.  It is basically the only car seat you will probably need for your kids! It is not only a super safe car seat either but it is also super comfortable looking and honeslty my daughter loves to snuggle in her new car seat.

Some features I love:

• True Side Impact Protection which creates an extra layer of protection with energy-absorbing EPP foam to keep the head, neck and spine aligned

• SafeCell technology in the base of the car seat which is an integrated steel bar, energy absorbing Versa-Tether and HUGS chest pads

• Quick-adjust harness reposistions for harness shoulder height, without having to remove the harness straps to adjust

• HUGS (Harness Ultra Guard System) manages crash energy and forward head movement while keeping the chest clip properly positioned

• Click & Safe Snug Harness Indicator makes a click noise when in place

• Tangle-free five-point harness to keep child safe and secure

• For kids both rear-facing and forward-facing

So what did we think of the Pavillion Ultimate Comfort Series Convertible Car Seat?  Love it!  Seriously the seat is comfortable, not that I can fit in it but just looking and feeling it you can tell its amazing.  It also helps that my daughter doesn’t want to leave it!  For me though this Britax car seat has little touches that make it special and stand out.

• A rubber cover on the harness straps to keep them from tangling and to hold your child in securely
• Removable cup holder that can be set on either side
• Padded cover on the middle buckle that keeps it from getting buried under your child as you try to buckle them
• Removeable cover – this is a biggie for me.  I hate when car seats get filthy and they are impossible to clean, I have literally taken our power washer to one before to clean vomit out of it, not fun at all.
• You don’t need tools or to remove the seat to adjust it.

So much room!

I would recommend this car seat to any parent looking for a car seat that is going to last and grow with their child.  It is a comfortable seat that is not too bulky and has great features.  It is expensive but when you think about how it could be the only car seat you need to buy for your child, its worth it.  Installation was a little overwhelming at first for me but after sitting and looking at the manual I had it installed in no time, I must say I love the LATCH system!
