My 7 year old is fascinated with creating little movies and drawings on his tablet. They are simple ones but he amazes me with the things he creates and comes up with. There are things he does that I don’t even know how to do!
Well now there is an app called SKIT! that allows users as young as 6 years old to easily create fun animated shorts, like memes and remixes. Users can use their own photos, images from the web or using props and images from SKIT’s full library.
What better way to launch the app than to create some SKIT’s with the characters from The LEGO Movie! I made this 20 second skit is about a minute and it is super cheesy and no sound recorded but fun!

I can only imagine what my kids will be able to create once I share my tablet with them. Worried about your kids on it? You can set the ratings on it from G to PG to PG 13.
Once you create the skit you can share it via social media and save it. I am all about sharing on social media (duh!) so I love that it is built in. I really love easy the app is, seriously so easy a tutorial isn’t even required. Just a few taps of the buttons to create something amazing and fun!
