So I have completed my first month on Nutrisystem and I feel pretty good. Now I did have a 7-day cruise in between there and a 4 day work trip, but I have eaten Nutrisystem for 4-full weeks now. Yes I have cheated and eaten out, but for the most part I have stuck to my Nutrisystem plan.
What is my typical schedule for Nutrisystem?
7 AM: Breakfast entree from Nutrisystem
10 AM: Snack – Usually I have a Nutrisystem protein shake, carrots, string cheese, nonfat yogurt, or Turkey pepperoni
1 PM: Lunch entree from Nutrisystem plus veggies
4 PM: Snack (see snacks above)
6:30 PM: Dinner entree from Nutrisystem plus veggies (I usually make a big bag of frozen veggies and the whole family has some or I have leftovers.)
9:00 I make have a small snack from above or Nutrisystem dessert once I finally sit down after getting kids in bed!
All-Day: Water, Water and More Water! Now I am not a big water drinker but I have found that if its ice cold I will drink it more and sometimes I add the powder or liquid flavoring to my water. I used to be a one can of Coke a day person and have since given it up, unless I’m out somewhere then I indulge.
Overall, having the two snacks has really helped. I never snacked before regularly, kinda just whenever I walked through the kitchen I ate something and it wasn’t usually something healthy. What I do love though is the the Nutrisystem meals are all there for me for breakfeast, lunch and dinner. They are clearly labeled and all I have to add is veggies or a small side, the Nutrisystem App and website have lots of recommendations for sides. Not an app person? Don’t worry you can also visit the Nutrisystem website for the same information!
What I have found though is the trick is to drink water, fill up on veggies if I’m still hungry after a meal and I can survive without soda.
