Recipe: Fresh Tomato Pesto Pizza

Fresh Tomato Pesto Pizza

Ingredients:

  • Bread (I used a loaf of La Brea Bakery bread)
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 package fresh mozzarella (I used the kind that is a big ball that you cut into slices)
  • 6 tablespoons Basil Pesto (or as much or little as you need to cover the slices of bread)

Directions:

  • Cut bread in half
  • Spread Basil Pesto on both pieces
  • Top with mozzarella and cheese
  • Bake at 425 for 15 minutes
  • Serve in bit size pieces if they are an appetizer or bigger if using them as entree
