Fun and Funky Doll Sets From Groovy Girls {Review}

Disclosure:  I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Recently I took my daughter to a local toy store and she was immediately drawn to these cute dolls called Groovy Girls.  I had never heard of Groovy Girls before nor had I realized their parent company was The Manhattan Toy Company. We have a few other Manhattan Toy Company products and my kids love them.  I will say what drew me to Groovy Girls was the fact that they are soft dolls and they have adorable accessories.  The bed specifically was the accessory I saw and I knew my daughter would love it.

I received two Groovy Girls products to check out with my almost 3 year old and her face lit up when she saw them.  She kept saying “Oh thank you!” and “She’s beautiful!”

Groovy Girls Royally Ritzy Bed

The bed is 15 inches long, so it is definitely not teeny and it is a bed fit for a princess.  It includes a pillow and blanket with satin lining and tulle trim.  It’s soft and not stiff or plastic.  Simply adorable!  The bed fits her new Groovy Girls doll perfectly and it will fit fine with any doll 15 inches or less.  I just love though how it seriously is a stylin’ bed, I wish I could get it in Twin size for my daughter!  The quality is amazing as well and I see it holding up just fine to everyday playtime.

Groovy Girls Princess Dahlia

This is our first Groovy Girls doll and I am sure it won’t be our last.  What I love about her is she is soft but not babyish soft.  She comes with a beautiful dress and multi-colored strands in her curls.  She measures 13 inches tall so she is not a small doll.  Her shoes are not removable, which honestly I believe is a plus since we always loose the shoes anyways.  My daughter says she is “Beautiful!”  Princess Dahlia is wholesome and not a doll I worry about my young daughter playing with.  Yes they sell additional outfits to change your Groovy Girls clothes!  I will say I am bummed when my daughter has a favorite doll but there are no other outfits that fit her.

Overall, I love the new Groovy Girls products.  They keep with the same style and design as they have for the past 16 years but they have new patterns and colors.  According to Groovy Girls “Each Groovy Girls character has a unique, one of a kind look expressed in her hairstyle, skin tone and hip outfit – just like girls in real life!”  I love that Groovy Girls recognizes girls are all different!  Oh and the products are affordable, the dolls start at just $15!
