Finally Breathing With the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier {Review}

What is one thing everyone in the world does? We breathe.  Since air is essential, shouldn’t we want the best air we can get? Well the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier uses a 5-stage purification system to significantly improve air quality and it definitely does improve the quality.

When I first saw the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier I was skeptical about how quiet it would be since it seems like a beast of a machine.  Being quiet was my main requirement since I wanted to run it while my kids were sleeping.  It surprised me over how quiet it actually is, its noise is like a soft fan.

Other than being quiet, here are some other features I love:

• Covers 400 square feet
• Eliminates over 99% of particles
• Features filter life indicator
• Electric buttons you just tap to use
• Flat panel design to blend in nicely with decor
• UV light to destroy and inhibit the growth of mildew, mold and bacteria
• Portable and lightweight so you can easily move it to another room
• Programmable timer

I’d say my favorite feature is the programmable timer because I can tap it on when I put my kids to bed and it purifies the air for them while working as a white noise machine as well.  I run this bedroom air purifier a few hours a day each night.  I don’t know if just knowing we have a purifier but the air down the hallway by my kids bedrooms does seem to be different.  Its hard to describe a smell that doesn’t have a smell but its fresher and less funky smelling.  We don’t have a pet now but I can imagine it would really eliminate animal dander like it suggests.  My parents have a dog and since they bought an air purifier it has made a huge difference.

Whether you have a pet or asthma issues, cleaner air is always better air.  I want the best for my family and air is pretty important!  Luma Comfort is a company committed to a comfortable indoor environment and I’d say they are doing a pretty good job with the AP400W Air Purifier.
