Learning Resources Sprouts® Shop it! {Review}

What made this set a must-have for us?  Honestly it was the little scanner!  I haven’t been able to find a scanner for my 3 year old daughter and she is all about grocery shopping now with her play kitchen.  The set comes with just enough play food to fit in the little basket and a scanner that actually beeps and lights up.  I will say too I was surprised it didn’t require batteries, so I assume it will stop working eventually on its own, but for now my daughter is loving it so I am hoping that is a long time from now!  The little boxes and cans even have barcodes to pretend to scan.  The scanner doesn’t say prices or anything but the beeps and light is more than enough to light up a child’s face.  Even my 7 year old son was scanning stuff with it!  This set has been well worth it for us.  Oh and the play food is extremely durable, not like the cheap play food that dents and cracks easily.
