Duracell Go Power Day Trip & Long Haul {Reviews}

Cell phones used to a few days for me before it needed to be charged but now that I am using it more frequently and doing more in general on it, I am lucky to get a whole day.  Well Duracell has two portable battery chargers for your phone and other devices that will charge them up in no time!  Duracell wants to ensure consumers are never caught powerless!  I love that they have made different products because some people might just need it occasionally and others may need more power.

The Duracell GoPower Long Haul is a portable battery charger that is designed to provide up to 4 phone charges, enough basically to keep you going for a few days.  It is a dual-port universal charger designed for smartphones and tablets.  Yes dual-port means you can charge two devices at the same time!  Or charge your device and help out a friend! It charges your devices at a rate comparable to being plugged into an outlet.

The Duracell GoPower Day Trip is a smaller battery charger but don’t let that fool you.  It can charge your smartphone up to a full day and its pocket-sized.  This is seriously a good one for guys since they don’t have purses to carry stuff in as the size is very thin and compact.  Oh the best part though is that the cords are built into it, you get both an Apple Lighting for iPhone 5 and micro USB for your other devices.

So how does a portable battery charger work?  First you charge your portable battery charger (and your device separately helps.)  Then when your out and running low on battery, just plug your phone right into the portable battery charger.  It charges you on-the-go.  No more worrying about a dead phone.  I mean we pay so much for these phones and then the monthly costs, we should get our use out of them!

Overall, whether you are heavy user or light user, a portable battery backup device is a great thing to have.  Phones are holding less and less of a charge and you don’t want to be stuck with a dead phone and no outlet!  Both these Duracell devices work on various devices, not just Apple products.  Yes you do have to charge them and in the case of the Long Haul you’ll need to carry a USB (or Apple) cord with you, but it definitely nice to charge your devices as you use them as you are out somewhere.  I have plugged my phone and tablets into these in my purse while at an event or out all day with my kids so I was getting my devices charged without sitting by an outlet.  I honestly like the Long Haul better because you get multiple charges, can charge multiple devices and it charges faster.  The Day Trip though would be ideal for a light user who needs just a little extra power.
