Shopping Award-Winning Toys Under One Roof Thanks to Brilliant Sky Toys & Books

With technology being pretty much every where we turn, it can be a little overwhelming to shop for a kids toy that is engaging and fun, but not necessarily tech savvy. Wouldn’t it be nice too to be able to shop under one roof for award-winning toys? Well Brilliant Sky Toys & Books is just that. They are a local neighborhood toy store (with 17 locations nationwide) that actually has their own toy award system. The Brilliance Awards combs through more than 10,000 high quality kids products and narrows it down to 10 favorites, that are surprisingly low tech this year. The toys are chosen based on “quality, value of open-ended-play and the simple beauty of a child’s fascination and delight.” From finger puppets to building blocks, crafts and dolls, there is something for every child on their list.

I absolutely love to shop locally rather than big-box stores if I can because I honestly feel smaller stores care more about their customers. Not to say that all big-box stores don’t but there is something to be said of a knowledgeable associate who can help you find the perfect gift for a child and its a quality product as well.

Shopping at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books makes you feel like you are an important customer from when you walk into the store and are greeted right away to the assistance in shopping and then checking out. Everytime I am in there I receive excellent service and I like that I am helping out the community as well by shopping locally. What I have found as well is that you are not going to find tons of plastic toys at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books featuring all the popular characters of today, although they do have some, but rather you find quality toys, classic toys and ones that are unique. I found so many amazing products there that I will definitely be picking up for Christmas as they are ones that look so amazing but are not found everywhere. Basically they carry hidden gem products as I call them, meaning toys that are awesome but are not ones all over television or catalogs maybe because of advertising budgets or brand.
