Zhu Zhu Pets Have a New Trade #TheAmazingZhus

My kids have loved Zhu Zhu pets since they first came out back in 2009, yes the Zhu Zhus are 5 years old already!  We have practically all the different types of Zhu Zhus from the classic ones to animals to battle Zhus to babies.  Well the newest line of Zhu Zhu Pets are magicians!  The Amazing Zhus allow kids to astound their friends (and themselves) as their Zhu Zhu Pets complete magic tricks and acts.  The new pets are hard plastic, instead of the furry style of the others and there is a whole line of new pets and accessories.  We got a few of the accessories and one pet to try out and my daughter had a blast playing with them.

First there is the Magician Hat Zhu.  He comes with a wand and cards and he can not only follow the magic wand as you point it but he can also predict the corret answer to the Magician’s cards.  So the wand is simple enough wave it around and the Zhu will follow it, my daughter tested this throughout the house!  The range is a good five feet or so and it even lights up.  The cards are silly, the Zhu “sniffs” the card and then acts out what the card has on.  For example there is one that is singing so our Zhu started to sing!

Next up is the Amazing Zhu’s Magicians Shell Game.  This game has a Magician Pet sniffing out where the shell is.  You put the pea under the shell and the Amazing Zhu finds it!  Finally there is the High Dive.  This is my family’s favorite.  It takes about 10 minutes of snapping it all together the first time and then its ready to go.  I will say my kids were not able to push the button themselves to attach the Zhu to the track as you do have to really push it down, or maybe you just need to break it in first?  I was able to push it in just fine though and the Amazing Zhu was off performing his trick.

My kids now want the other Magician and Stunt Pets as well as the tricks, such as the Amzazing Zhus High Wire and Tomato Can.  I think after our trip to the circus next week, they are really going to be ready to perform with their Zhus!
