Disclosure: I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
When I was younger I remember looking forward to my favorite magazine subscriptions. I never thought about getting toys or other items in the mail as part of a subscription. Nowadays though it seems like there is a monthly subscription for practically everything. From food to flowers to books and toys, there is a subscription service no matter the person’s tastes. Well now there is a monthly subscription service geared towards LEGO and brick lovers. Yep thats right, each month, the subscriber will receive a box full of the latest and greatest LEGO and LEGO compatible products. The contents of the box are a total surprise to the subscribers, other than they know they will get something unique and awesome!
Brick Loot was actually created by a 9 year old who loves LEGOS. You can purchase a one month subscription, three month subscription or six month subscription. Brick Loot researches the latest and greatest Brick themed toys and then ships a custom filled box to the subscriber’s doorstep. They are a new company and one that I think has a genius idea! Brick Loot is not associated with The LEGO Group but honestly my kids were happy to receive brick-items in general.
I got the chance to check out the first Brick Loot box and it is was full of items some great items. With each package you get not only a selection of items but also a sheet on everything that is included inside. The sheet contains more information about the products and companies they come from.
I think Brick Loot is a great idea and the price is not bad at all. I think this is especially awesome for young boys as it is geared towards young boys as well which I can’t think of anything else that is. For girls, I have seen craft kits and dolls, but nothing for boys. I wouldn’t say Brick Loot is just for young boys though, it is something that any LEGO or brick enthusiast can enjoy and appreciate. It is also a gift that keeps on giving! Not only does the subscriber get to build something, they also then can play with it, check out the brands online to learn more and display the creations.
Here are some partners they work with:
Brick Loot is also hosting a great contest for those that do un-boxing videos for our December box can enter to win THE MEGA BRICK which has over $700 of LEGO sets.
