Beating the Holiday Colds and Sour Throats With Help From Chloraseptic

Disclosure:  I have been compensated for this campaign and received products in exchange for sharing my honest opinion and this information.

Being sick as an adult is no fun but as a mom its even worse.  As a mom, I don’t get sick days and if I do get sick I need fast working medicine. I need to be able to take care of my family and I want my family to stay healthy as well.

Here are some ways we stay healthy in my household:

  • Wash our hands…constantly!
  • Drink lots and lots of water.  It may sound silly and unimportant but fluids keep your body working properly and when your sick or fighting something your body needs all the help it can get.
  • Rest. This one is especially hard for me since I am a busy mom but I do my best to lay down and rest and go to sleep early.
  • Take medicine.  I am not someone who likes to take a lot of medicine but there are definitely times I need it to get through the day or even to force myself to get some sleep.
  • Speaking of medicine.  Taking the right medicine is important otherwise its not going to do the job.  I make sure to read the labels and even ask the pharmacist for recommendations.

For a sore throats luckily there is Chloraseptic’s family of products.  Chloraseptic is the #1 pharmacist recommended sore throat relief brand (*Lozenges Tied for #1)  Their products offer fast acting relief for the whole family in a variety of forms.  From throat sprays to lozenges, Chloraseptic is perfect no matter how you prefer to take it.

I honestly like to use both varieties of Chloraseptic products.  I like the Chloraseptic lozenges during the day and at night I am all about the Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray.

The Chloraseptic Lozenges are a quick relief formula that suppresses coughs up to four hours and even cools nasal passages.  It is great for any time of the day but I just tend to take it during the day since I have to suck on it.  The lozenges have a soothing liquid center which you can really feel coating your throat.

Chloraseptic Throat Spray is great because it relieves my throat pain so I can try to get some sleep.  The Cherry flavor is alcohol free so it doesn’t burn my mouth, aspirin free and even sugar free.  There is even the Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Spray in Honey Lemon flavor, which soothes soar throats because of the warming aspect and honey flavor.  I have heard honey works magic on throats but I don’t like actual honey, honey flavoring though I can handle.  There is even a Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray for kids so your kids don’t have to suffer if they get sick.
