It seems like every commercial on television right now is for a toy and of course my kids all shout “I want that!” We are at the point that it doesn’t even matter what the toy is, if it is on tv they want it. As a parent though I want toys for my kids that are not just the hottest toys of the year but actually chosen by kids! Don’t get me wrong, adults can pick out toys for kids, but I think kids know themselves better.
Well this year Walmart has launched the #ChosenByKids campaign. Walmart asked a thousand kids to pick out the top toys of the year. They then turned narrowed down the choices by gender and age. The toys are perfect for creative playtime! To promoted the #ChosenByKids campaign, select Walmart stores even hosted events where they had certain toys on display.
I headed to my local Walmart with my daughter and we found the Ninja Action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) on display. My daughter was very excited to play with a toy at Walmart, as usually that is not what we are there for.
The #ChosenByKids stand at my store was not big, but it was a great way to show off a #ChosenByKids toy and let parents and kids play with the toys first hand.
Oh and my daughter even became an Official Toy Tester which she was excited mostly because its a sticker!
Back to the #ChosenByKids Ninja Action TMNT though as it really is a neat toy. You just have to wind them up and then let them loose to perform their signature move. We didn’t open the one we bought as it is going to be a gift for my boy’s cousin, but playing with it in the store gave me an idea. Each turtle performs a different move, from flipping Raph to Super Sidewindin’ Leo, the turtles all have “Ninja Action!” This would be a great figure for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan as he actually can perform like a ninja! It is an action figure that really moves!

These are so neat! My Kiddos love TMNT but our store was out. Am definitely going to have to pick some up once they are back in stock ;)
These are so cool!! I didn't get a chance to play, er I mean, my kids didn't get a chance to play with one at our event as they didn't have any out. I kind of want one for myse..my nephews! I'm going to look into ordering one from Walmart. Cool post!!
