Make it YOUR Game With My Monopoly Game {Review}

My husband and oldest son love Monopoly and they would play it all the time if they could.  For me honestly I like Monopoly but I don’t have a lot of patience either.  Right now we have more Monopoly versions than I can count and I love that they keep making Monopoly new and fresh.  It is a great way to make the game fresh and get the game to continue to be played.  We tend to mix it up and play different versions each time we play.

Well Hasbro has come out with their newest Monopoly called My Monopoly.  What makes it so different than any other Monopoly so far is that it is customizable with your own pictures!  You register online, upload your pictures, print them out with the included sticker paper and stick them on the tiles!  You get 4 sheets of stickers with 30 stickers on each sheet.  The reason you have to register on the My Monopoly website is because it lines up the pictures so they print in alignment on the sticker sheet.  It is super easy to upload them, you just want to make sure you have 30 pictures ready to be printed at one time so you can print the sheet all at once, otherwise you’ll end up wasting stickers.  You do have to add your own device and printer to get this set up for the first time.

While adding the stickers is super easy, I honestly haven’t had the chance to get all the pictures ready for the stickers, it doesn’t help that I’m trying to pick pictures that would fit the properties and tiles.  You get to customize everything from your game tokens to the Chance and Community Chest cards, to all the property tiles.  So while its still Boardwalk, Marvin Gardens and so forth, you get to pick the picture of it.  The sticker part can take quite a long time as it is so fun adding the pictures, adding accessories and captions and just customizing them.  You can really get creative!  Change your mind on a tile?  You can always make new ones and stick them on!  For Chance and Community Cards you can have fun ones for collecting money for birthdays or pay money for pictures of disasters the kids have done!  The possibilities are endless and this is a game that the whole family can relate to and will want to see through!  This has definitely sparked my interest and I can’t wait to get all my pieces customized and see my family’s reactions when we open it up!
