Our #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate

Last weekend was finally a free weekend for my family and it was so nice to just hang out at home.  All my kids had friends over and they were all either watching television, on a tablet or playing video games. While it was nice for them to sit down and focus for awhile on something other than running around my house, I thought it would be nice for an impromptu party!  Well not any party but a DisneySide party! What does a DisneySide party entail?  Well lots of Disney fun of course!

Whether you have party items at home featuring your child’s favorite Disney characters or you just break out some Disney movies and toys (which I’m sure everyone has something of), a DisneySide party is easy! I had actually received a bunch of items to host a Jake and the Never Land Pirates party, which was perfect since I have both boys and a girl who love Jake and his friends.

So first the Jake and the Neverland Pirate party items:

Then there was the toys, which consisted of a Mega Bloks car set and Kinetic Sand.

What’s a party without food?  Well thanks to Crunchmaster crackers, Kelloggs Fruit Snacks, and Clif Kid Z Bars, my kids and their friends had a little of everything to choose from.

We also had some fun games of Disney Bingo, Matching and of course Disney movies.  Oh and since we had just went to Disney World in October, my daughter grabbed our photo album to show that to all her friends.  I’d say our party was a hit and I think what made it even more special was that it was something I completely surprised my kids with.  Like I said though even if you don’t have the party supplies on hand it is super easy to through your own Disney Side party!  To me Disney is magical and it never fails to make me smile.
