Streaming Family Friendly Movies and Shows From FEELN, including #RainbowBrite! {Review} #moviestogether

Disclosure:  I received compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

A movie subscription service that shows only films that are entertaining, inspiring and perfect for all ages?  That is exactly what FEELN is.  From Hollywood blockbusters to Original Short Films and Series, FEELN has a little something for everything.  The movies are specifically chosen so any of them can be watched by anyone in the home.  Each and every title actually has to pass two simple tests:  the quality standard and the “together” test.  The “together” test is actually a very good concept.  It means that every movie chosen is geared towards families.  So no you won’t find “R” rated in-appropriate movies on FEELN, but rather ones families can enjoy together, if you can wrangle your family to sit down for a movie!

Now I will say one particular series drew me to FEELN, I saw that they were remaking the classic from my childhood and I was sold.  Okay so it is not exactly the same as back then, but it allows me to share this popular 1980’s character with my own children.  Who you may be thinking?  Rainbow Brite!  Yep Rainbow Brite is back!

Not a Rainbow Brite fan?  That is okay, FEELN has tons more to offer. The movies and shows are broken down into categories with a little of everything, but again everything is safe for all ages.  I think the highest rating I saw was PG-13.  So yes I guess if you don’t let your children watch PG-13 then there may be somethings they can’t watch but the point is there are no R rated movies basically.  I hate when my husband and I are watching a movie and my kids come in and I’m not sure if what we are watching is appropriate for them.  With FEELN I can be sure if my kids walk in they won’t be seeing nudity or heavy swearing.  Most of the movies seem to be G or PG rated.  They actually guarantee that what they offer will not contain excessive violence, language or nudity, nor will they feature movies with divisive social issues or political agendas.  Obviously screen the movie or show first if you are concerned.

For family movie nights, we have found some great choices thanks to FEELN.  Some of our favorites have been The Karate Kid (the original version), Hook, Click, Annie and Apollo 13. We’ve only had FEELN for a few weeks now but so far I have a picked out for every weekend for us and to keep us busy doing winter break!

Most importantly though, you may be wondering how you watch the FEELN movies.  Don’t worry you don’t have to all huddle around your laptop, there are more choices.  With media streaming devices becoming super popular (I have too many to count) and more and more people canceling cable in favor of a media subscription service, FEELN is definitely something to consider.

Supported devices:

  • Roku
  • Apple TV
  • TVS and Blu-Rays with Google TV
  • iPhones, iPads and Android Phones and Tablet
  • Nook
  • Kindle Fire
  • Xbox 360
  • Computers

So basically you stream whatever you find from FEELN onto your device.  So yes you do need an Internet connection to “stream” the movies.  To have all the FEELN movies at your disposal for whenever you want to watch them and wherever, it costs as low as $3.99 a month!  If you have a data plan for your smartphone or tablet you can even stream FEELN on the go!  Not sure you will use FEELN or just want to get a feel for what’s available on it?  Check out the 1 week free trial!  To me the price of $47.99 for the annual membership is well worth it. There are so many movies available and honestly yes I am loving the Rainbow Brite series which is exclusive to FEELN.
