Yes McDonald’s Accepts Competitor’s Coupons! Of course this is up to the manager at each location but so far every McDonald’s I have visited has taken them with no problems. It is rare to see coupons for McDonald’s but I regularly see coupons for Arby’s, Burger King, Steak N’ Shake, Sonic and Wendy’s. The coupon is for a comparable item at McDonald’s. So for example if you have a $1.00 of shake at Arby’s you can use that for $1.00 off a shake at McDonald’s! I have noticed too that the McDonald’s locations don’t always advertise they take competitor coupons, so don’t be afraid to ask!

Don’t believe this because only corporate owned McD’s will accept (not privately owned franchises) and then it’s still up to the manager.
Just confirmed at my local McDonald's that it has to be a paper coupon. Not off the mobile app. They ha e no way to scan it off the mobile app.
